Students will get to learn about the exciting field of veterinary medicine and become a veterinarian physician and surgeon. This program will discuss canine/dog health. Our Little Veterinarians will get to perform dog assessments like making a nose to tail exam, keeping a dog healthy with proper dog nutrition, learning about ticks, caring for lacerations, dog heart, and also learning some basic surgical skills, immunization, and more! They also get to take home their own premium stuffed toy dog at the end of the program.

You might have heard of HIIT workouts, well now it's time for Robin's LIIT workout! LIIT stands for "Low Impact Interval Training", where you benefit from the High-intensity interval training style, but with a focus on Low Impact movements. These total body workouts will consist of short bursts of intense (but low impact) work that typically last between 15 seconds to 1 minute. These are followed by a quick recovery period and then right back to work. Improve your cardio and strength without sacrificing your wrists and knees! Emergency/Basic First Aid with CPR & AED (Blended eLearning)

The approved Blended Learning Emergency First Aid with CPR & AED training session has been designed so that you can complete it at your own pace, in your own time. Not only will you learn more effectively but you will also have more fun learning.

The course has two components:

A first aid theory “Online” Component
A first aid practical classroom skills session Component

The Online Theory Component

The on-line course covers all relevant theory the participant needs to complete before taking the practical training session. Each of the modules will be thoroughly explained with minimal technical terminology and include a helpful quick review section. It take two to three hours to complete, you do not have to do the theory all in one. You can come and go as you please with this theory component. It must be completed before the Practical Training no later than 1 week prior to the in person Practical Training Component.

Practical Training Component

In the Practical Training session an accredited Rescue7 Inc. instructor will answer any questions that you have as a result of the theory course and will then demonstrate a number of techniques, including emergency scene management, shock, unconscious and fainting, adult choking, severe bleeding and much more.

We will review everything the participant learned online, and only those with a passing mark will be able to participate in the Practical Training session.

Certifications

Certification is valid for 3-years from the date of completion. Hard copy manuals can be purchased onsite for $15 the day of the practical course
