Director of Operations and Organizational Effectiveness

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership
•     Provide leadership and oversight of all operational activities.
•     Develop and implement operational plans that support organizational goals.
•     Ensure effective delivery of services through efficient processes and resource utilization.
•     Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements.
•     Establish standards, procedures, and best practices that promote consistency and 
       accountability.
•     Identify and mitigate operational risks.



Facilities & Maintenance Oversight
•     Oversee facility operations, maintenance programs, and capital improvement initiatives.
•     Ensure facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
•     Develop preventative maintenance strategies that maximize asset life and reduce costs.
•     Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers.
•     Evaluate facility needs and develop recommendations for operational improvements.


Event Operations
•     Provide oversight and strategic direction for organizational events and special initiatives.
•     Establish event planning processes and operational standards.
•     Coordinate resources across departments to ensure successful event execution.
•     Review event outcomes and implement lessons learned for future improvements.


Organizational Effectiveness
•     Lead organizational reviews to identify opportunities for improvement across all
       departments.
•     Analyze workflows, structures, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
•     Develop recommendations that enhance collaboration, communication, and service delivery.
•     Support the development of performance measures and accountability frameworks.
•     Champion continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.


Human Resources Coordination
•     Act as an intermediary and strategic resource on HR-related matters.
•     Support leadership in reviewing organizational structure, staffing requirements, and 
       workforce planning.
•     Partner with the Coordinators to address employee relations, workforce development, and 
       organizational change initiatives.
•     Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and programs that support organizational
       objectives.
•     Promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative workplace culture.
